The U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the fact of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny poisoning. Trump declined to blame Russia in poisoning unless the White House has the evidence, though the case will be studied, writes CNN.

"We have to look at it very seriously. If that's the case, and I think we will. I don't know exactly what happened, I think it's tragic. It's terrible, it shouldn't happen. We haven't had any proof yet, but I will take a look," Trump said when asked how the U.S. should react.

Alexei Navalny felt sick in the airplane on his way from Omsk to Moscow. The plane accomplished the emergency landing. Navalny was delivered to the Intoxication Department of an Omsk hospital. He was transported to Berlin later.

Alexei Navalny is known as a fighter against corruption; he called Vladimir Putin's Party, "the Party of Criminals and Thieves."
