"We are ready to meet with the opposition, we are also ready to meet with individual opposition parties, and discuss what they are ready to do," Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of the capital and Secretary-General of the Georgian Dream told reporters.
Kaladze noted that precisely one party and its units do not want to reach the agreement.
"We call on all political parties to sit down at the negotiating table. It is what our international partners want us to do, and I have American partners in mind. If we fail to decide on one thing, then the elections will, of course, take place under the current system," Kaladze said.
The dialogue regarding the electoral system interrupted after the arrest of Gigi Ugulava, one of the leaders of the opposition.
