Georgian Dream member Vano Zardiashvili' s deputy mandate has officially been suspended, with 94 MPs having approved the decision. Irakli Zarkua should have replaced him; however, the latter refused to enter the parliament, which is why Zardiashvili's post will be taken by the next candidate on the list Temur Gotsiridze.
Vano Zardiashvili expressed his desire to have his mandate suspended on Oct 7. According to him, a smear campaign against him subjecting his family members to stress pushed him to make this decision.
