Three Azeri Greco-Roman wrestlers continue to fight for the title of world champion.
In the 60 kg weight category, Murad Mammadov defeated his opponents Krisztian Kecskemeti (Hungary) and Aidos Sultangali(Kazakhstan).
After defeating his Japanese rival, Ayatu Suzuki, Mammadov reached the semifinals.
Murad Lokiaev (97 kg) defeated Pontus Lund (Sweden) but was unable to break the resistance of Vilius Laurinitis (Lithuania). Beka Kandelaki (130 kg), who defeated Stepan Davitd (Czech Republic), lost to Iakob Kazaya (Georgia).
Today, Greco-Roman wrestlers Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg) and Rafig Huseynov (82 kg) will compete in the final matches of the World Championship. Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg) will fight for the bronze medal. Azizli's opponent will be Ekrem Öztürk(Turkey), Suleymanova - Roman Vlasov (Russia), Husseinova - Burhan Akbudak (Turkey).
Abubakr Abakarov(86 kg) and Usman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze medals among Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers.
