Georgian wheelchair fencers have won seven medals at the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup in Paris. Georgian sportsmen vied for victory with three types of fencing weapons – Rapier, Sword, and Épée.
Irma Khetsuriani, who has won gold, competed with a sword and rapier; Gvantsa Zadishvili (her weapon _ sword) has claimed silver, and Nana Tabilashvili was awarded silver in all the said three categories.
At the end of the tournament, the team claimed third place in rapier wheelchair fencing by earning silver.
