Spaniard Rafael Nadal refused to participate in the Dubai Open. Nadal received a special invitation from the tournament organizers.
With a prize pool of $ 1.9 million, the tournament will take place on March 15-21.
"I would like to thank the Dubai Open organizers for the wild card invitation sent to me. We seriously thought about coming to play, but I don't think I am ready to play yet. Once again, thanks to the tournament's kind invitation and best of luck with the tournament," he wrote on Twitter.
