A tennis tournament is set to be held in Tbilisi on 12-18 July, under the auspices of the Tbilisi City Hall, and the Georgian Tennis Academy, with the tournament organized by the Noncommercial Legal Entity Tennis.
The tournament will be held under the aegis of the International TEN-PRO Global Junior organization, with 300 young tennis players from around 30 countries involved in it. The age range is as follows: U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, and U16 (born between 2005-2013).
Sportsmen will compete in two age categories, with each tennis player being involved in at least four matches. The 10-day tournament will be held at Leila Meskhi Tennis Academy.
The countries participating in the tennis tournament are as follows: Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Serbia, Belgia, Belarus, Brazil, Kazakstan, Malta, India, Iran, Turkey, and others.
Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Andria Basilaia, representatives of international and tennis organizations, and others will attend the event.
The project aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and develop sports tournaments.
