Georgians win 3 silver medals in World Wrestling Championship

Georgian National Wrestling Team has won 3 silver medals in Wrestling Championship held in Budapest. Two silver medals in below 23-year old group were won by Levan Kavzharadze and Guram Khetsuriani, masters of Greek and Roman style, in 63 and 87 kg category correspondingly; while the six-fold champion Zviad Pataridze rejected the final stage due to the trauma and automatically won the silver medal.

Kavzharadze was close to become a champion.He was winning Irani Dalhani (6:2) though in last minutes he lost. Khetsuriani lost the final with Ukrainian Semion Novikov 1:6.

Another wrestler Giorgi Melia, 97 kg category, is having final with a Finn wrestler today.Aivengo Rikadze will try to win bronze medal also today.
