Olympic champion Nino Salukvadze, who is preparing for the ninth Olympic Games, held another training in the "Asaka shooting" arena in Tokyo today, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia report.
Nino Salukvadze will be the flag bearer of the Georgian Olympic team at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games on July 23, together with another Olympic champion, Lasha Talakhadze.
It should be noted that Nino Salukvadze is the only female athlete in the history of the Olympic Games who will compete in the Ninth Olympic Games.
"We are going through the acclimatization process in Japan now. Our doctors are doing their best to overcome this difficult stage. This Olympics is the ninth in a row for me and probably the most difficult one. Georgia is represented in Japan by a team of experienced and talented young people, and each of them will do everything to make the Georgian fans happy," said Nino Salukvadze.
The XXXII Summer Olympic Games will officially open in Tokyo on July 23, where 35 Georgian athletes will compete in 11 sports. Most of the Georgian Olympians are in Tokyo training in the arenas prepared for the Olympics before the start of the competitions.
