Drift Series-2020 competition organized by BMW Club Georgia opened with the support of the SOCAR Georgia Petroleum company.
The SOCAR company declares that in 2020, the organizers faced obstacles due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but they still opened the rally.
The first drift competition already took place in Khoni, with the next one scheduled on September 26-27.
Various types of competition are held worldwide.
The professional series takes place in the USA, Europe, Australia, and Japan. The Japanese D1 Grand Prix series is most popular.
A drift car usually has a sizeable rear-wheel drive, and the car itself is almost always light. Classic drift cars: Nissan 350Z, Nissan Silvia S15, Nissan 180SX, Nissan Skyline, Mazda RX-7 and "Hatchi-Roku" in direct translation "8-6" - AE86 (Toyota Sprinter Trueno, Toyota Corolla Levin) 1984-1986 biennium release, and also Nissan (Silvia / 180SX / 200SX / 240SX).
