The 44th International Tournament took place in Riga, the capital of Latvia, at the Volvo Open Cup, where unit skaters from Georgia participated: Alina Urushadze (senior women), Irakli Maisuradze, and Nika Egadze (senior men). In the junior category, Anadea Gulbian-Schmidt.
Georgian athletes won two gold and one bronze medal. Alina Urushadze won first place among 12 women skaters from 8 countries with 178.29 points. For Irakli Maisuradze, the Riga tournament was the first start of the new season, and for Nika Egadze, it was the second official start after Kazakhstan. Georgian sportsman Irakli Maisuradze took first place with 227.61 points, and Nika Egadze took third place with 225.60 points among 11 men skaters from eight countries.
Junior athlete Anadea Gulbian-Schmidt finished the tournament in the top ten among 21 girls skaters from 14 countries (with 119.75 points).
